The below petroglyph of the feet, to the left you can see a minor circular swirl, that is a Solstice marker. It is an excellent article that explains just how special this minor appearing petroglyph is.
I photographed this group of petroglyphs on two consecutive days. I stayed in Holbrook and wanted to capture images in a different light so I came back the next day. This is just the beginning of this page on the petroglyphs of Puerco Pueblo. I’ll be going back and photographing more. I’ll update the pages after my visits.
