Puerto Penasco, Mexico | Nov 4, 2024: iPhone 16 Pro

I’m always looking for this…

The Wall

This is the set up for those time lapse files

M and I love it down here, it’s a dream of ours to live in a beach house on this beach. We just got back from a big stroll, I took a lot of pictures and she was slightly perturbed at my slow motion but she loves me, wife and husband stuff. She is down on the beach under a palapa, me?

Writing.

It’s low tide and I set up the Tiltall, iPhone on time lapse, I think this one is going to be good but it’s a bluebird day. No good clouds to give the ocean of air flow.

Digging Chappel Roan coming out of the Bose set in the cabinet to boom out.

Her lyrics are rad, I love it.

So not missing social media, it’s good, I’m creating, not sucking.

Ohh, I’m feeling a nap come on. The F3 is put away, the boat anchor is turned off.

I’m just happy.

I always am at the Sea of Cortez.

My Escape Room

Last sunset, it’s chilly and I don’t want to put on my hoody. The place is deserted. Quiet, just my soundtrack playing from Eninio Moricone’s, “For a Few Dollars More”

We will get up in the morning, go find some big blue shrimp at the malecon and head back across the desert to our home in Phoenix.

One more sleep.

Lucky’s Cantina for $8 breakfast (one drink, 2 eggs, potatoes, bacon, beans and tortillas)

Fantastic trip! M and I are home, already we want to go back, actually, we want to retire here. It’s magical and if you can’t see from the photos, you will never understand.

The border is heavily guarded by the Mexican Army. We got searched going in and out. I am so ok with it and I believe it is political. That’s what the people in Mexico say and it’s ok. America treats the Mexican citizens poorly. We were treated with respect as our car was searched, I joked with the soldiers about smuggling mota (marijuana) and they could have one of my beers in the cooler.

I love Mexico, she is amazing.

    1. Thank you my friend. I love fishing down there too but when it’s miserable in the Evil Empire, that’s when the fishing is best in this area of the Sea of Cortez.
