I’m not exactly sure on the story of acquiring the Series E 75-150mm f3 AIS. Let me check my eBay purchase history… Nope, I must have purchased it from an individual in person. I had no clue what I was doing and I purchased three zoom lenses when I was going through a vintage zoom lens phase. I bought them cheap $25!

I haven’t used it very much but I understand that it is a desirable choice in the Series E choices of lenses. This morning, when I take my sheep-a-doodle, Lucy for a walk, I’ll see what kind of pictures I can come up with.

Currently, I write these pages on my iPad laying on the couch. It takes a few days to completely finish the pages on lenses and equipment as I research and try to make sure my info is good. I make the site for me, because I enjoy researching my equipment and the links, the resources and even the opinions, I can come back to and research.

The walk?

Hot, at 9a, Sunday, June 14, 2025 it’s already 101 degrees. Not fun to go outside for a walk but it’s necessary. At sunrise it’s reasonable but still hot, I’m already behind the curve. The first couple of frames I was too close. I didn’t take the shot. I wanted to completely frame my image so I stayed back. Taking snaps from the road looking down it, pictures of street signs and of course, pictures of Lucille.

Let’s see how those turn out.

I forgot the heat, I like the lens, more than I thought. I’m definitely going to get a dedicated bag, a Lowepro Nova for the Nikon EM ~ Series E quiver.
