Freedom to practice as you choose and protected by laws so long as you and the government abide by those laws and if charged with offenses, a fair method of review in a court of LAW.
FREEDOM of speech is guaranteed by our Constitution and the laws of our land.
If we do not agree with the government policy, we can peacefully demonstrate through our first amendment (free speech) constitutional right by protest.
The key words here are PEACEFUL demonstration. Respecting the local, state and federal law. Peacefully displaying your message by a hand held billboard, verbal support and simply, your presence is lawful on public or your own private property. If you are told to disperse by police, do so immediately and ask questions later.
It is your right as an American citizen.
If someone breaks the law during a protest, immediately leave. Do not interfere with the police, assist them with information and by following their orders.
The police are there to protect you as well.
