Wet Shaving Products
I’m a new shave geek but not exactly. 30 years ago, I collected DE razors, my favorite being the Fatboy with the plastic case. But I gave it to my shaving geek friend some years ago, he told me about how cool it was. I told him that I had some razors that I had saved over the years and I gave him that Fatboy. He just looked at me like, “Really?” I had no idea I would be purchasing one to use again in the future.
I forgot just how good of a shave you get with them and how cool they are.
Anyway since then I’ve purchased my own re-fished Rhodium plated FB at another shaving parlor, Razor Emporium.
Jim asked me if I would like to go to Wet Shaving Products.”Heck yeah!” and we ended up in Tempe, Arizona. Cory was working in back and moved up to meet us in the small showroom.
Afternoon gentlemen.
Jim started to chit chat and I said hello, Cory said that he would have to excuse himself as he had a batch of shave soap he was putting into tubs.
“Hey, do you mind if I come back with you and take some pictures?”
We made small talk as he was filling tubs. I looked around, the manufacturing area is so clean and tidy. Nothing like I had seen in a favorite movie of mine.
“Cory, where do you keep the body parts? Laughing, you saw Fight Club right?”
More laughing…
“We don’t talk about Fight Club.”
In short order, he had filled that entire table of tubs and walked us back to the front. We had spoken about themes for soaps, I won’t talk about them here because his ideas are really cool and that’s not my thing to share. He gave us samples and I bought a bar of Lavender soap, for some reason, my skin really likes lavender and I am fond of the smell ever since going to another lavender shop near Strawberry and Pine Arizona.
I suggest a visit to Wet Shaving Products, it is small but mighty.
