AF-S Nikkor 17-35mm f/2.8 D

I love wide zooms! I have the AF-S Nikkor 14-24 f2.8 G ED FX, the AF Nikkor 20-35mm f2.8 D and the AF-S Nikkor 28-70mm f2.8 D and now the AF-S Nikkor 17-35 f2.8 D! Each has a distinct purpose but I’m going to focus on this lens. 

The target body at this time is my F6 35mm film camera! I did a search online for a good lens, a wide zoom for the F6 and this lens came up in a couple of returns. I may mount it to one of my DSLRs to see what it does but it’s definitely going with me to the desert looking for rock art and vistas.
