March 21: I received my D780 (Nikon pro grade digital camera) and have begun orienting myself to it. It is a bit more complex than the digital cameras I’ve owned in the past. There is plenty of support for it online and I’ve put it all together and now will work with it.
March 20: Updating Pages.
March 16: I updated my Politics page. Nikon EM Repair I’m enjoying making the blog. Definitely hard to kick social media (facebook) as it’s my connection to old friends. I see it for what it is, we are all hooked on it. This will be the reason why I kick it though, knowing we are all hooked on it.
I reject the oligarchy and its control of social media.
I bought a Nikon DSLR, a D780. I’m going to learn it and stay current. It’s a great camera and will do everything I want. It will take my old manual focus lens too.
March 15: Updated Movies, attended Musk/Tesla protest and brought the FE2. I’m struggling to post about protesting but I’m loosing the war, I’m going to write about it because it is so American. Soon.

March 2: The Idea
February 25: My Lenses… and filling in some other pages with photographs. Just having fun goofing around. I’m starting to formulate my plan for the Rock Art projuct; a multi media idea that’s on the horizon for me.
February 24: I got my rolls back from Mexico, the 35mm f1.4 and the 28-85mm f3.5-4.5. I'm getting to know the lenses, funny, I like the 28-50mm f3.5 quite a bit. Fuji Velvia is my film favorite so far. I'm understanding by doing... happy to be away from social media.
February 23: Home, filling out the Flying page. I have some film to take in for processing and I am waiting for a roll to be uploaded. I bought some Velvia 50 and 100 as well as Provia 100 yesterday, it’s actually fresh and my new rolls will be too. Adding in the following pages but not yet published: Nikon FE2, Nikon F3, My Nikkor Lens AIS - AI, Lens Hoods, 35mm Film
February 22: More lounging at Aster, get up, pack up, drive home. I’m a little tense about going through the border but the hassle was on the way in. Let’s see how that goes. I’m definitely quitting social media. This is so much better for me. edit: the Mexican Army searched the car on the way out but it was no big deal.
February 21: Lounging with Aster, she makes me feel so good, unreal in fact. I’m populating the different pages, writing my stories and loving my iPhone but I love my Nikon F3 more, mounting a beautiful piece of (gl)ass? Gottam, wow! Shooting some Fuji Velvia today. Waiting for low tide, I got a fantastic video of G~d pulling back the Sea of Cortez, amazing. Now I want to get a good one of pulling up the sheet.
WOW, discovered Chappel Roan! She is laying down the soundtrack in my dream here.
February 20: Added in more pages. Headed South to the Sea of Cortez. Filling out the Travel Page and writing a bit in About Me.
Social media is TOXIC.
There is so much artificial intelligence, and it is difficult to tell the difference between what is real and what is not.
It used to be fun meeting new people and sharing common interests but now it’s a quagmire and you have to wade through a lot of bad water.
I can’t stand AI mixed in with what I read. Some things in my feed are AI generated and are un-wanted. I didn’t ask or program that in my experience there, so I reject Facebook and MARK ZUCKERBERG. I don’t want a meddling oligarch dictating my interests. He needs to stay in his lane at his Kauai compound and get back to creating a cool place instead of the mind harvester that Facebook has become. It is a contribution to the decline of an intelligent society. You are what you eat, what you read, and you do what you do. I’m going to keep social media out of my head. I don’t need that kind of exercise in determining what is real and what is not.
It is what it is.
This blog is my divorce decree. I’m walking away from the house I built in that neighborhood and now living in my van down by the river!
Politics in America?
So many stupid people!
So many reasons why social media it is just a burning dumpster fire. It’s like the Walking Dead and I’m fighting zombies. So I’ll make my compound here, while I’m at home laying on the couch. I’ll detail my adventures quietly. Speaking of, we go to Mexico today. To the Sea of Cortez, Puerto Penasco or Rocky Point. M and I are staying in a condo on the beach. I’ll walk with her alone on a deserted Mexican beach. I’ll take some pictures with my old Nikon film camera and share them here.
I’m excited to start filling out the architecture I’ve set up. I enjoy creating a story, in my case, at my own spot. I’m detailing my life, my pursuits, this is sort of multi media diary. Basically I (if you know me) am an open book.
If I think it, then I plan it.
I plan my work and work my plan.
What you see here is a product of those plans.
February 19: Filling out the Contents page. Thinking about site architecture...
February 18: I am starting to figure out what I want to do here. Basically, this spot is born today. It will encompass all of my online activities. I will catalog what I've done so far and focus all content here and disperse to my other web sites. In essence, this is my HP. Phoenix Street Photography - San Juan River
